Last week while having my dinner, i shocked everyone at the dining table when i said my first word "mum". Everyone got excited, especially mummy. I decide to have a lil' fun with them so i didnt say anything else after that or for the next few days. Just spraying my saliva as usual.

Don't be fooled! Just because i don't talk yet doesn't mean that i don't already know a lot about language. We babies are amazing in how we talk. So today i decide to say the word "Babah".. hehe..So you can guess who got excited. My daddy who wants to be called "daddy" all this time decide to change his name into babah hehe.. Just you wait..its not over yet..

Thursday 28th February

So the next day i decide to say " daddy ".. hehehe..So apalagi..my babah confuse lah..hehe..tapi happy..Mummy pun happy jua tapi geram hati..hehe..Sabar mummy ahh..Nini-s pun wants me to say nini...Uwa-s pun...apatah lagi uncle dinny.."Din din din" is all i hear..hehe..Tunggu ah..

Friday 29th February

Then today i decide to say " daddy " lagi..hehehe. Sahh confirm my babah is now my daddy.. hehehe..

Sebenarnya all this have an explaination.

When a baby starts to utter the word 'dada' or 'daddy' long before they manage to say 'mama' or 'mummy', it is not because babies are expressing favouritism. Experts have revealed that the reason is physical, not emotional. Dr Mary Fagan says that the natural development of babies' mouth and tongue means that the first sounds they can make begin with G and then D. The M -um sound taking several months longer to master..Ehem..Ehem..so i've master that.. YahooOo..

This explains why babies often say 'dad' oftenly, despite the fact that most spend more time with their mothers. So it is not favouritism - it is science. Daddy thinks otherwise.. hehe..

Anyways, we went to Miri today! My first trip to Malaysia and it wasn't even planned. We left home around 2pm and got to Miri City before 4pm. We went to Imperial first and then i had my dinner at McDonald's. No..i didn't have McD. I wish. I had a nice warm bubur :)

We went to Parkson afterwards where i found Elmo trap in a box. Kecian..So we bought them all..well the ones that works!

What is Chap Goh Meh?

Chap Goh Meh or Tzap Goh Mei (十五暝; pinyin:shí wǔ wěi; lit. "fifteen night") represents the fifteenth and final day of the Lunar New Year period as celebrated by Chinese migrant communities. The term is from the Hokkien dialect and refers to the fifteenth day of the first month, which is the occasion of the first full moon of the New Year.

The occasion is marked by feasting and various festivities, including the consumption of tangyuan.



Tāngyuán is a Chinese food made from glutinous rice flour.

In traditional Chinese culture, it is also celebrated as the Lantern Festival or the Shang Yuan Festival. In Southeast Asia, however, it coincides with the Chinese Valentine's Day. It is also when young unmarried women gather to toss tangerines into the sea, in a hope that their future spouse will pick it up – a custom that originated in Penang, Malaysia. In the past, this was also the only day that unmarried ladies could be seen with their partners.

Hygiene in the kitchen

Mummy always worry about the food safety implications of cooking my food. This is because almost everything i own have to be sterilised and so she became obsessed over the smallest details. Washing my bottles and accessories with 'BottleNipple & Vegetables Liquid Cleanser' is a must for her!

To ensure the food mummy prepare for me is safe, she...

* Always wash her hands before she start.
* Make sure the pots for boiling my food is wash in hot, soapy water. Then air-dry the pot, instead of using a tea towel.
* Wash the meat and vegetables with cold, running water.
* Uses plastic or glass cutting boards because wooden ones tend to harbour bacteria.
* Refrigerate my freshly cooked food within 2 hours. Bacteria can grow at room temperature after this time.

Anyways, what she should realise by now is that she can't possibly keep everything in my world sterile.. hehe..because i like putting my toys into my mouth and even grabbing the tv remote and start chewing on it!

But i guess its okay..because i remember the doctor saying "Let him play with dirt.. eat bugs" or is it "Play with bugs ... eat dirt" keh keh keh.. doctor orang putih tah banar...Suruh nya ku makan pasir..Cheh! Macam dalam movie. And eveytime i went to visit this particular doctor.. No shoes allowed! Yea that's right..Mr Doctor nda suruh pakai kasut..Why? Will it stop my feet from growing? Hmm.. i will look into that topic later.

"Let your child explore things" he said. So now im exploring things. I find myself loving the outdoors! I love watching the cars pass by my house. I love watching the flowers and the plants move.

Sometimes i watched Daddy play RC (remote control). He is still learning to control that thing. He crashed into my stroller a couple of times. Bari Tekajut! Hehe..



I love the outdoor so much that mummy let me have my meal out in the balcony yesterday afternoon.




Which reminds me, somebody asked mummy the other day: "Syazwan makan sudah?"

I then realised i forgot to blog about it.. hehe

"Sudahh"

"Bila?"

"Seriatu sudah...on the 1st of February..Masa atu Syazwan almost 6 months"

"I see...Apa Syazwan makan?"

"Syazwan makan bubur ayam & carrot, bubur ikan & sawi, bubur daging & labu"

"All at once?!

"Haha...No lah..Different variety everyday"

"Oh i see...brapa kali sehari..? Atu saja makan nya? How about udang?"

"Well..he eats twice daily...Ohh..he love bananas. Must have one in between meals or after. Doctor advise jangan dulu makan udang pasal masa ani skin Syazwan sensitive"

"Ahh i see...menyusu ia jua?"

"Yes of course"

"Ahhh...padan tah bulat!"

Her husband had been slipping in and out of a coma for several months yet she stayed by his bedside every single day. When he came to, he motioned for her to come nearer. Nenek K and Nenek A left for Jakarta and Malaysia this morning.. It is not confirm when they will be back..Soon i hope. I miss them already.




But at the same time..I hope you both will have loads of fun..
