It's the munching while watching any cartoons really
that makes it a lot more fun.
I know it's fattening
but i just can't take my hand away from it.

Guess what? Since March 4th this year, Brisbane City has its very own farmer's market. Every Wednesday now my family and i would take a nice stroll into town, which is just 5 minutes away from home, to the end of the Queen Street Mall near the bridge.

Seasonal fruit, vegetables, seafood, breads, flowers, cheeses are all available. But we are mainly there for the seasonal fruits..
so we call it 'Fruit Market Day'..hehe

and YUP..thats for me! hehehe..okay okay for us.
Ahh~~Custard apple..where do i begin?! I love them..my subtitute favourite fruit since mangos are not yet available here. Anyways, im not complaining as custard apples has a sweet aroma, its delicious and very nutritious, perfect for eating every day!!
We bought 4.5 kilos worth..hahaha yes enough for a whole week! We buy them still hard to touch you see so we let it ripen over the next few days. But when we want to hasten the ripening process then we simply put the fruit into a plastic bag (preferbly paper bag) with a banana and leave it on the kitchen bench. The banana will accelerate the ripening of the custard apple. Voila!

ErrRRr and mummydaddy dont like it when i sit too close to the tv...Drive them nuts..hehe..Well... i was in the middle of playing my music when the cartoon starts so i turned around to face the tv and she happen to snap this photo. I was put on the sofa after that..hehehe..

My Tuesday

Then in the afternoon we went out to get groceries at Woolworths near our home..Yesterday chicken and beef, today my chicken burger (Halal from Baiada Certified Processor), fish fingers and fries..yeah!

While waiting for daddy~o to put the stuff in the car, i decided to pose for mummy.

Oh yea..hehe its Kai-lan. Yes that's right! Veggies! The last time i had veggies was when i was still a baby, when my food was still blended mix with porridge. I ate different types of veggies..but just when i started eating solid food, i lost interest in veggies..until NOW.

Funny how Kai-lan would be my first veggie to eat after so long..its a slightly bitter leaf vegetable but somehow when i saw my parents having their dinner, i wanted some so i started putting them in my mouth and well..that was it..i was eating veggies. I love the way daddy cooked it with oyster sauce..yum yum..Oh and i had rice with that..hehehe..

Chinatown

We went to Chinatown today to buy Halal Chicken and Meat. Its part of our routine once in every two weeks..Awu sometimes its twice..but usually its just once. That is the time we stock up kilos and kilos sampai full jua freezer atu..hahaha baik jua fridge basar..well..not too small not to big..just medium really..hehehe..

So anyways..we got there and well...i fell asleep..buying chicken, meat, prawns, veggies and all that stuff is not my thing. So i decide to take my afternoon nap.

Mummy forgot to take pictures of what Chinatown looks like here..She was too busy shopping i guess..but she said and i quote "Chinatown is under renovation, nada papa kan di gambar..semua betutup papan ah" Hmmmm...i asked daddy just to confirm..skali banar..hehehe ok mummy..May be next time.

Anyways...we were there for an hour and well..they knew parking was gonna cost $11 per hour..Maklum nada lagi ada tempat parking except for parking betingkat ani..and well $11 for an hour to get food for two weeks seems reasonable rather than using a taxi or the bus bcoz theres just too much and well too heavy to carry. So we didnt have a choice really..

Dulu when Neneks was here, Nenek K wud park at the side of Chinatown while waiting for us..then there was that time when Ninis was here, daddy wud park at the side while waiting for us..but actually waiting was not allowed so most times they had to go round the blocks couple of times...hehe then there was that time daddy used to cycle to Chinatown and well u can imagine him carrying kilos worth of stuff in his backpack..Alahai..Ngalih kali ah..

So anyways.back to the story..ahh the $11 per hour parking..turns out to be $14. Why?? hehe well..we missed it by 3 minutes..so total of 1hr 3 mins..and the extra 3 mins cost $3..Alahaiii~~ hehehe In brunei, its either free or $1 per hour..ishk ishk ishk..we need to appreciate that.. hehehe well luckily here we get free parking at all Westfield Complex especially Woolworth near our home and after 7pm at certain areas.. so thats good news.

Anyways, we got home and well...time for me to watch cartoon..
Mickey Mouse was on..hehehe..

I'm back !!!

Hey hey hey..i'm back...!! hehehe..sorry peeps..been kinda busy with all the moving and everything.. Well..lets hope i'm here to stay cause i knoe most of u out there really miss me too..I guess I should do a post on the things that has been keeping me occupied and away from blogging for 3 months! But lets take it slowly..hehe so i'll begin with what i've been up to today..Guess wat? Its Mothers Day..

I woke up this morning and kissed my mummy many times..hehe Its no different then any other day really..I kissed mummy daddy everyday when i wake up and when i go to bed..oh and even during nap times..but wats so special about today was..i have presents waiting for her..

Happy kali mummy ah..tarus pakai nya minum coffee..hehe..

We went out to Westfield Garden City and i had my usuals..

After that, kami jalan2..nothing much to see bcoz most shops closed at 4pm on a Sunday..Can't even go to the playground like my usual Sundays..What with the Swine Flu affecting Australia last weekend altho there's no confirm cases yet but its better to be safe right? Mummydaddy banned me from the slide for 2 weekends now..we did go to the park last week but only for the ice cream..hey its ice cream so im not complaining much..plus i have my own slide at home but still i miss the BIG slide. Hmmm wonder if i can convince mummydaddy to get me a bigger one at home..hehe
